ML Engineer, Watermarking Research
Lead the watermark integration that makes every Shield certificate survive recompression, screenshotting, and post-processing.
About the position
You will own the watermarking layer of the Shield proof pipeline. Today, that means deepening our Adobe TrustMark integration across image, video, and audio outputs. Tomorrow, it means leading Shield's research contribution to the next generation of provenance watermarking specs at the C2PA Working Group.

- Lead Adobe TrustMark integration and customization across Shield's image, video, and audio generation pipelines.
- Design and run benchmarks for watermark survival across the realistic derivation paths our brand customers face in production.
- Publish quarterly survival reports as part of Shield's public compliance dossier.
- Represent Shield in the C2PA Working Group conversations on next-generation provenance watermarking.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team on the production performance of watermark embedding (current target: under 200 ms per generation).
